Medical Office Cleaning Services Across the East Bay
Medical offices need a cleaning program built around their facility—not a generic list of janitorial tasks. Patient-facing spaces, staff areas, exam rooms, restrooms, and shared touchpoints may each require different products, procedures, and cleaning frequencies.
System4 San Francisco East Bay provides recurring medical office cleaning services throughout Alameda and Contra Costa counties. We work with practice managers, property managers, and facility teams to define the areas included in service, document facility-specific instructions, and establish a schedule that works around patient appointments and operating hours.
Services can include general office cleaning, cleaning and disinfection of approved surfaces, floor and carpet care, interior glass cleaning, consumable supply replenishment, and periodic facility maintenance.

Medical Facilities We Serve
System4 develops cleaning programs for independently operated practices, multi-location medical groups, and healthcare properties, including:
- Primary care and specialty medical offices
- Dental and orthodontic practices
- Outpatient and urgent-care centers
- Physical therapy and rehabilitation offices
- Diagnostic and imaging centers
- Behavioral health practices

Many clients primarily need cleaning in waiting rooms, reception areas, offices, breakrooms, restrooms, hallways, and other general spaces. Approved exam rooms and clinical areas can also be included when the responsibilities and procedures are clearly defined during the facility walkthrough.
A Cleaning Program Based on Your Facility
Facility size, patient traffic, flooring, operating hours, internal procedures, and the division of responsibilities between clinical staff and the cleaning team all affect the scope of work.
A written scope gives the cleaning team clear instructions and helps prevent uncertainty about individual rooms, surfaces, and responsibilities.
Before service begins, System4 works with your team to document:
- Areas included in each visit
- Restricted spaces and excluded responsibilities
- Cleaning and disinfection frequencies
- Approved products, surfaces, and high-touch points
- Access, alarm, and security instructions
- Supply replenishment, inspections, and communication procedures

Cleaning and Disinfection Procedures
Medical office cleaning requires more than removing visible dust and debris. When disinfection is included in the scope, System4 uses EPA-registered products on approved surfaces and follows the product label, including its required contact time.
During the facility walkthrough, your team can identify frequently touched surfaces requiring additional attention, such as door handles, reception counters, light switches, restroom fixtures, and approved exam-room surfaces.
Our cleaning programs can also incorporate color-coded microfiber materials and designated equipment to help separate cleaning materials by area. Restroom equipment is kept separate from equipment used elsewhere in the facility. Products, surfaces, and procedures are documented in the facility’s cleaning plan before service begins.
